DOWNLOAD: Shannon & the Clams - Rip Van Winkle (MP3)
Bay Area band Shannon & the Clams will release their new album, Dreams in the Rat House, on May 21 via their label home, Hardly Art. A lover of vintage rock n' roll, R n' B, Shannon (who spent time in Hunx & His Punx and sang on the last Intelligence LP) brings that fun spirit to her own music. Check out "Rip Van Winkle" in MP3 form above.
Shannon will be in Austin next week with most of the music world for SXSW but will then hit the road with Mikal Cronin (whose new album is out on Merge soon). That tour includes a stop at Bowery Ballroom on June 20 and tickets are still available. All tour dates (including SXSW shows), plus album art at track list, are below.
