The Flaming Lips streaming first track off 'The Terror', premiering Wayne Coyne's iPhone-shot film at SXSW, playing 'Letterman'

The Flaming Lips, who just expanded their tour (it hits the NYC-area on 5/16 at Wellmont Theatre), have finally officially revealed the first taste of their new album, The Terror, which comes out on April 2 via Warner Brothers. NPR is streaming the album’s opening song, “Look… The Sun Is Rising,” so head to their site to hear that.

As mentioned, the Flaming Lips tour includes SXSW, and while they’re there, they’ll be premiering Wayne Coyne’s iPhone-shot film. The band will also be on the Late Show with David Letterman on April 3.
