Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 10:34 AM

Well 10:14, how much would you pay to see Tom from Brooklyn Bowl & the challenger Fake D in a steel cage PUSSY FIGHT at the Barclays?

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 10:42 AM

This will sell fine regardless if you buy tickets.

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 11:28 AM

barclays is the opposite of music and brooklyn. fuck barclays.

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 11:31 AM

Couldn't pull ga once.

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 12:04 PM

I got so excited I spilt hummus all over me...

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 12:06 PM

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 12:46 PM

I couldn't get GA at all, you motherfucking cocksuckers hipsters fucks

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 12:46 PM

The waste sale was easy to get tickets in. This, not so much.

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 1:07 PM

Yeah, I'm glad I got my ticket from the waste sale. I tried today to get a ga ticket for a friend and had no luck, couldn't even get seats in the lower section

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 1:12 PM

Pulled some pairs in the single digit sections after a while but no GA. PASS.

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 1:51 PM

I'm gonna bring my mousepad for them to sign

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 1:54 PM

did anyone get ga?

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 2:37 PM

I was able to pull one for GA but I through it away when I realized it was 80 fucking bucks.

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 3:05 PM

why are you guys paying over $75 for this shit? this isn't radiohead.

if radiohead didn't exist, you wouldn't pay $15 to see this crap at a 3,000 venue, same AFP catalog standing.

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 3:26 PM

There's nothing like an arena show with desktop computers. Fucking rock n roll

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 3:32 PM

This is insane. Glad I went to the LPR show.

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 3:57 PM

postal service all over again. barclay's seems to attract the suckas.

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 3:59 PM

2nd show announcement soon?

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 4:05 PM

326pm just moved from the midwest. hey hipster, if you went to afp roseland show with flying lotus, you would know it's worth the money. now stop paying attention to one hit wonders.

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 4:06 PM

3:05 i'm glad you through it away instead of threw it away... next time pick up your knuckles and scratch your head...

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 4:40 PM

saw the roseland show and i'll see the barclays show... in a comfortable single digit seat...

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 4:46 PM

I liked the Roseland show better when it was Radiohead, tbh. That's my personal opinion, tho.

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 4:49 PM

A GA floor ticket for the AFP show at the Liacouras Center in Philly costs $58 + fees. It is very easy to get tickets on comcasttix.net or waste.

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 5:11 PM

Wow, if you spent any money to see a laptop band in an arena you really have NO VALID BASIS to criticize anyone as being from the midwest or chasing the latest fad. You may not see this, but you're kind of King Dufus. Next you'll be saying how you bought a fart off of this guy outside the arena.

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 5:36 PM

"326pm just moved from the midwest. hey hipster, if you went to afp roseland show with flying lotus, you would know it's worth the money. now stop paying attention to one hit wonders."

i'm sorry, but atoms for peace is not worth $80 at an arena. they're a b+ band that should be playing places smaller than t5. i love radiohead, and the afp cds are decent but give me a break.

below face GA tickets day of show guaranteed. just like postal service/sigur ros/all these other bands that shouldn't be playing arenas.

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 6:20 PM

This isn't a "laptop band" show. That one was a few weeks ago. This is full band with Flea et al...

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 7:34 PM

Brooklyn is for fruitcakes and ugly broads.

Posted by SexMan | March 23, 2013 8:32 PM

Wow TONS of tickets left..just tried section 15? Wowza can't believe Postal Service sold way better then this. $20 day of show...nice!

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 9:35 PM

Full band doesn't make up for half baked songs. Snooze fest.

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 10:09 PM

Flea is the most overrated bassist of his generation. If he was really that good he wouldn't have had to stick with that shitty band that has inexplicably lasted for 25+ years.

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 10:31 PM

Thom needs Jonny. His songs fall flat when he's alone.

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 10:35 PM

This shit reminds me of when Rhoda spun off from Mary Tyler Moore. Just because you may have caught lightening in a bottle once doesn't mean your shit doesn't stink anymore. This shit is pedestrian and the arrogance of booking Barclays would be laughable were it not for the several thousand of you clueless fucks that are enabling this bad music. You all should feel deep existential shame.

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2013 11:17 PM

Ha, to the dude ripping on Flea for staying with RHCP all these years. Right, it would have been way smarter for him to ditch a high paying gig to impress you.

I'm not even a fan of his or RHCP by any means, but I respect him. And he's still had time to contribute to projects like this and Mars Volta over the years, so I think he's doing just fine - both financially and artistically.

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 12:28 AM

I though AFP were great at Roseland. It's not Radiohead. It's different, especially rhythmicly. I look forward to this. I'm glad the tix are the prices they are. It keeps all the whiney losers away.

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 1:37 AM

The afp show at roseland was terrible who are you guys kidding. It would have been a complete waste of money if it wasn't for flying lotus.

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 2:46 AM

Re: Flea. After you do more than your share of ruining one of the greatest, realest, punk bands ever, what should your second act be, if not RHCP?

It's like you could just ruin one band, but why not ruin a whole society then?

Posted by midwestern stud muffin | March 24, 2013 2:53 AM

Interesting to note that this band did not have a name in 2010 . There were lots of question marks on their posters??? They have come along way!!

Posted by Robyn | March 24, 2013 4:35 AM

1117 & 246 Clueless idiots. Why even bother commenting? Just don't go. Flea was great at that Roseland show and no, I'm not a RHCP fan. Just a music fan. Barclays will be a dancehall for this show.

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 7:03 AM

@11:17. Yep

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 8:21 AM

Wow I'm looking at the TM page almost 24 hours later and plenty of mid bowl seats are still available. I bought mine in the WASTE sale, but clearly the seats will be a dime a dozen come show time, you probably won't see much movement on the floor prices.

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 9:23 AM

When's the photo's from the Sky Ferreira shows gonna get posted. Been waiting days FFS

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 9:59 AM

Doritos locos cool ranch

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 10:03 AM

Floors are back up for barclays

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 10:07 AM

People really eat up anything this guy does.

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 10:52 AM

9:59 there are some from the mhow show on stereogum

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 10:57 AM

i got no problems paying $80 to see this up close.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fNnCKU_gUs

but then again i make over 100k/ year

Posted by blunts | March 24, 2013 12:47 PM

to the guy who said Flying Lotus made Atoms for Peace "worth it" at Roseland you can straight go fuck yourself....the sound during Fly-lo's set that night was the worst sound i've ever heard at a show in NYC, with the bass clipping all over the place..the speakers literally crackling and filled with static from the overdriven sound (no soundcheck?).

It was completely unlistenable, and if you couldn't discern that, you're a total fucking idiot.

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 1:53 PM

^^^You are a totally idiot if you think afp is profound. Afp is the epitome mass music marketed to dumb people who pretend to "get it." You are probably the kind of person who finds the show girls enlightening.

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 2:08 PM

i bet even thom yorke is surprised at how fast this shit sold out.

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 2:27 PM

208 So if I like something you don't I'm dumb? Ok got it. 153 You are right on the money. Calling someone an idiot for liking music, something people do all of the time on here, makes one really sound like a fool. Yes, we all have different tastes. Thank God for that!

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 2:43 PM

2:08 im pretty sure afp is marketed to people who like thom yorke's music.. liking music doesn't mean you pretend to "get it" whatever that even means

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 4:37 PM

"im pretty sure afp is marketed to ...."

you could have stopped right there and been both accurate and making your core point

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 5:03 PM

LOL @ 1:37's comment about keeping "whiney losers away", are Thom Yorke fans anything but?

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 5:35 PM

AFP at Roseland was great. Amok is great. AFP at Barclays will be great. Hummus is really really really great.

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 5:54 PM

Flying Lotus made Atoms for Peace "worth it" at Roseland you can straight go fuck yourself....the sound during Fly-lo's set that night was the worst sound i've ever heard at a show in NYC.

Posted by Basic Ayurvedic Juice | March 24, 2013 6:46 PM

535 Some maybe. Most? No. Judging from this site indie music fans in general are pretty damn whiney. Everytime tix go on sale they bitch about the venue, the prices or that they couldn't get tix. Maybe if they had a real job they could afford them.

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 7:35 PM

this song is the jam.. can't wait to hear it live.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxWBd840E9g&feature=youtu.be

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 7:41 PM

Pita triangles for hummus. GA is Linsanely inexpensive.

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 8:08 PM

^ yep yep

Posted by Anonymous | March 24, 2013 8:09 PM

how much would cost 1 hotdog and diet coke there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ anyone?

Posted by KazukoVox | March 25, 2013 1:19 AM

^ $37 before condiments.

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2013 2:09 AM

I can't wait to buy my ticket for 10 bucks outside the rusty arena on the night of the show.

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2013 10:37 AM

^I will bring $11 just in case I got to out bid 10:37 but I have a feeling we will all get in...if you even wait a little might be $5

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2013 10:47 AM

7:35, overall I agree with you. They are a whiney bunch. But in this case, 80 bucks to see a side project play for 70 minutes in a huge basketball arena is a bit much. And this is coming from someone who can certainly afford it, but chooses to spend money elsewhere.
