Also, Fitz and the Tantrums at the Studio at Webster Hall. Are they not cool enough for this site?

"Also, Fitz and the Tantrums at the Studio at Webster Hall. Are they not cool enough for this site?"

Surprised about that as well since their other shows have been covered here.

$300 for the floor for Jay-Z/JT? Who do these clowns think they are?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2013 10:20 AM

"$300 for the floor for Jay-Z/JT? Who do these clowns think they are?"

They think (and know) the majority of people interested in this concert in the tristate area will gladly pay that much to see them from a half mile away.

They're illuminati masterminds, pay your $300 and grovel before your overlords.

"They think (and know) the majority of people interested in this concert in the tristate area will gladly pay that much to see them from a half mile away."

I mean, the floor isn't half a mile but still. I don't even think The Police charged this much back in 2007 (and those dudes are GREEDY bastards).

Market dictates price. Why shouldn't the artist get the money? Rather it go to StubHub or those awesome scalpers outside the stadium?

I have no interest in going so no I have no preference of whether it goes to the artist, stubhub, or the stadium.

Let me know when Daft Punk plays in NYC.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2013 10:37 AM

I don't blame the artists for charging 300. I blame the idiots that pay that much for a 3 hour show. Market dictates price.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2013 10:38 AM

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2013 11:54 AM

I am sure they will play one off show, even if it is not NYC it'd be better than paying for a festival where there are only a handful of good bands
