Audacity at Fan Appreciation in 2010 (more by Rachel Carr)
Audacity

Garage rockers Audacity released the album, Mellow Cruisers last year via Burger/Recess and they're following that today (4/2) with a new 7" out on Suicide Sqeeze. The a-side, "Finders Keepers," can be streamed over at SPIN, and the b-side, "Onomatopoeia," is making its premiere in this post. It's a poppy, garagey tune, and a more mellow cut for the band compared to their last record. Check it out below. You can also win a copy, details are below.

Audacity will also be heading out on tour this May with Man or Astro-Man?, and while that tour doesn't hit NYC, as discussed, Man or Astro-Man? will make their way over here with Jacuzzi Boys to play Mercury Lounge on June 20 and Brooklyn Bowl on June 21. According to a note on Man or Astro-Man?'s facebook page, there's only a few tickets left for the Mercury Lounge show, so if you'd like to go, get those quick. You can also still grab tickets to the Brooklyn Bowl show.

All dates are listed, along with the new song stream, below...

This band has been recommended to me but I can't get past the fact they have the worst band name I've ever heard.
