Boards of Canada

If you've been paying attention to the Boards of Canada news lately, you've probably noticed that they're up to something, though similarly to Daft Punk, no one was entirely sure what. Now the band have a new password-protected website and if you enter in "699742628315717228936557813386519225" (via Pitchfork), you'll find out that, like Daft Punk, the electronic veterans are set to release a new album this year. It's called Tomorrow's Harvest and will be out on June 11 via Warp. It's their first full length album since 2005's The Campfire Headphase. Your move, Aphex Twin.

The album art, tracklist and BoC's recent Cartoon Network commercial below...

Someone has to go out and find the other three BOC promo vinyls. You could sell that shit on Discogs for mad loot

It's weird to see a featureless tracklist after all this Random Access Memories business. Seriously...

CAN'T WAIT

Fuck Daft Punk and there hype. At least there wont br the Rolling Stone interview saying how boring electronic music is and then produce a single with Pharrel that sounds like some dated commercial music. Something I am excited about for now.

"their" hype

That Daft Punk song is good.

This album is called "Tomorrows Harvest", but what exactly are they harvesting? Could it be chickpeas?

Be cryptic, don't be cryptic. Use guitars, don't use guitars. Our passion and fun has been smothered by the internet. Fuck it, let's make some money and get some shine...
