Coachella

The first weekend of Coachella 2013 is less than a week away, and the set times are finally posted! Let our Coachella 2013 Spotify playlist be your schedule-making soundtrack.

Get there early on Friday to see Justin Vernon aka Bon Iver's new-sort-of band.

Good luck trying to catch The Stone Roses and Trent Reznor's new project How to Destroy Angels.

Sucks if you were hoping to catch Phoenix, New Order and Sigur Ros.

OMD vs Wu-Tang vs Nick Cave.

Etc.

Hey you cock breaths, Sasquatch has released their schedule as well and there are no conflicts as compared to this abortion of a schedule.

Posted by Anonymous | April 10, 2013 12:14 AM

why put JEFF and Thee Oh Sees against each other? they clearly have a lot of the same fans

Posted by Anonymous | April 10, 2013 12:33 AM

lol at phoenix, sigur ros, new order all at the same time. this is why bonaroo is the best fest around. late night sets allow them to spread it out.. they almost never have bands of the same genre overlapping.

The choices are actually quite easy...
How To Destroy Angels > Stone Roses
New Order > Phoenix + Sigur Ros
Nick Cave> OMD + Wu Tang + all else

The worst Coachella in years, maybe ever, and compounded into complete shit with stupid scheduling. I'm gonna lay in my pool and get my dick sucked by hookers instead on my time.

Posted by Anonymous | April 10, 2013 2:38 AM

Johnny Marr then push my way up front for Blur and Stone Roses..boom

Battle of the Bands

I understand conflicts are inevitable, but this is crazy.

Posted by Anonymous | April 10, 2013 8:57 AM

Why would Stone Roses fans care about Trent Reznor's dumb attempt at proving his wife is talented?

Posted by Anonymous | April 10, 2013 9:12 AM

The Phoenix vs. Sigur Ros vs. New Order is beyond ridiculous. Scheduling for a festival like this will never be perfect, but that is just a slap in the face of everyone who bought tickets to this thing.

Ghost B.C. was not meant for a daytime outdoor show ...I'm sure they will sound cool but, it will be hot as fuck under those robes and the fun/mystic feel to the theatrics gets fucked up. Hard to believe they did not consider this.

Posted by Anonymous | April 10, 2013 10:27 AM

10:03 - Everyone who bought tickets for ths should be slapped in the face with a giant horse cock.

2:38 - Can I bring over a susage plate and a video camera? That the kind of party I'm talkin' about.

Blur and Grinderman are playing their only North American dates at Coachella. Totally smart to put them at the same time.

Posted by Anonymous | April 10, 2013 10:55 AM

Blur only playing 80 min!

Posted by Anonymous | April 10, 2013 10:57 AM

Wow. I like how Smith Westerns still think they're relevant. Losers.

Posted by Anonymous | April 10, 2013 11:02 AM

LOL at all the 50-minute sets.

"The choices are actually quite easy...
How To Destroy Angels > Stone Roses
New Order > Phoenix + Sigur Ros
Nick Cave> OMD + Wu Tang + all else"

i disagree with almost every choice you made there.

I would legitimately ask for a refund if I was planning on attending this. This schedule was made by a sadomasochist.

Posted by Anonymous | April 10, 2013 1:07 PM

This schedule makes me recall about a time when I was on the Bowery and I was exactly 3 blocks away from both Mamouns and Hummus Kitchen. It was paradoxical situation and I was frozen in confusion and not knowing which location was better to attend.

Phoenix, NIN and QUOTSA at Made in America festival this year in Philly. WHATSUP!!!!

Posted by Anonymous | April 10, 2013 1:39 PM

I hope they rearrange set times for week 2. Too many conflicts, especially on Friday.

Posted by Anonymous | April 11, 2013 4:50 AM

week 2 doesn't fall the same time this year though. sunday and monday don't collude.
