All 3 days have "good" bands. Still not worth my effort to travel to Governors Island though.

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 11:17 AM

11:17 - it's not at Governors Island, it's at Randall's.

Tough choice. Probably going with Sunday. Would've done Saturday if guns n roses weren't headlining... what happened there?

Posted by kanon | April 5, 2013 11:24 AM

all 3 'headliners' suck the big one.

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 11:27 AM

Can we move Best Coast, Dino Jr., and Local Natives to Saturday?

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 11:28 AM

What happened to Haim?

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 11:29 AM

Did they just throw all the names into a hat and draw them at random?

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 11:31 AM

11:29 - Haim's on Sunday.

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 11:31 AM

sunday is such a scalpfest, dang

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 11:35 AM

^What's a "scalpfest?"

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 11:39 AM

So just leave before the headliners go on? Done.

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 11:40 AM

this lineup makes no sense at all

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 11:59 AM

This is the best lineup in the history of the world. Jesus would have been proud.

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 12:35 PM

go kill yourself kanye

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 1:07 PM

@107 Kanye has contributed more to the world than you ever will

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 1:23 PM

I'm only going to this for On and On, Cherub, The Rubens, Swear and Shake, Pacific Air, Bear Mountain, Reignwolf, Roadkill Ghost Choir, Paper Diamond and MOON HOOCH.

I've really never heard of any of these other artists.

(Oh, and Griz, I gotta see Griz.)

Posted by John Boehner | April 5, 2013 1:33 PM

I can't decide which is funnier - the sentiment that Kanye has contributed anything to the world or that 1:23 is making value judgements on the life of a person he only knows as Anonymous (or @107, technically).

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 1:36 PM

Moon Hooch is ok...two saxes and drums..reminisent of Morphine

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 1:44 PM

Thanks for letting us know if you're going to go and what days you think are the best, guys. I personally make my decisions based on what anonymous elitist losers say on the internet, so thanks for helping out. I truly value your opinion so, so highly.

Fuck off.

This festival blows asshole.

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 2:12 PM

happy to help

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 2:13 PM

94% certain 2:07 is the perpetually angry IT guy in my office.

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 2:16 PM

"I can't decide which is funnier - the sentiment that Kanye has contributed anything to the world or that 1:23 is making value judgements on the life of a person he only knows as Anonymous (or @107, technically)."

If you were contributing to society on that level, then you wouldn't have time to comment on this post. that is a fact.

And yes, I acknowledge that the above means that I have contributed less to society than kanye; I have not made songs that have brightened the emotions of millions of people. Don't shame kanye unless you're on his level, at which point you shame him in the press rather than anonymously on a bv forum.

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 2:25 PM

^ holy fuck this loser is so fucking dumb!

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 2:28 PM

"If you were contributing to society on that level, then you wouldn't have time to comment on this post. that is a fact."

Oh, so the busier you are the more you are contributing to society? And do they have hummus on your home planet of Dumbass?

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 2:32 PM

Jesus, look at those headliners. Meathead fest for trash loving neanderthals.

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 2:54 PM

11:35, no festival is ever a "scalpfest". Most of the time, you can get tix cheap outside day off.

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 3:02 PM

"11:35, no festival is ever a "scalpfest". Most of the time, you can get tix cheap outside day off."

scalpfest = any time you can make a ton of money off reselling tickets. this applies.

This is going to draw the worst piece of shit crowd to ever attend a festival in NYC. What a waste of some decent talent. To think they could have dropped some of these headliners and faux "indie" acts (Cold War Kids, Lumineers, Avett Bros, etc) charged half as much, had it take place on a single day with no overlapping sets, and moved it back to an island that didn't totally suck. This is so bad that it makes All Points West look good.

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 4:10 PM

^ill be seeing deerhunter grizzly bear and kanye west outside on a summer day with friends. does that make you madddddddddddd?

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 4:19 PM

Clearly you didn't read my comment, 4:19. I'm going to stay in Brooklyn, far away from this mess and try to catch the bands I actually care about at their own headlining gigs.

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 4:31 PM

three days and not a single act i would want to see

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2013 8:20 PM

Sunday is a better day than any other festival day you are going get across the country.
