@3:03 is one of the most boring blog commenters ever

3:03 probably likes Beach House, Wavves or Grimes.

So basically who gives a fuck about that persons opinion.

This band is way better live than on record, actually.

I guess 3:03 never saw The Strokes

How did I miss that they are now on Matador?

Wish the Desert Sessions would pick back up again.

Where are you guys thinking they'll play for the NYC show? Williamsburg Park? Summerstage? 2 nights at T5? Radio City?

most boring live band award might have to go to mogwai

Posted by Anonymous | April 8, 2013 4:49 PM

@435 T5 guaranteed. maybe 2 shows, but maybe just 1.

Posted by Anonymous | April 8, 2013 4:50 PM

MSG Theater possibly.

Posted by Anonymous | April 8, 2013 5:16 PM

@ 4:50, could be but they sold T5 out pretty quickly when they did the self-titled tour.

I saw them when Trail of Dads opened, Mark Langerhans (Screaming Treez) came out and sang with them at one point

Roseland?

"I saw them when Trail of Dads opened, Mark Langerhans (Screaming Treez) came out and sang with them at one point"

Mark Lanegan sang on a lot of QOTSA stuff. That's why I think Rated R is their best album: three different singers, many different styles.

i saw them on that tour too @ the avalon in boston. they killed it. pretty stoked for this record hoping it has more variety (like Rated R).

love this new art work too...

Dreading the inevitable T5 announcement

Posted by Anonymous | April 8, 2013 9:11 PM

I think Radio City would be perfect, they've pretty much done every other venue, if you're going to do T5 atleast give us 2 nights
