THE TRIUMPHANT RETURN OF HUMMUSAPALOOZA

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2013 1:25 PM

uninspired at best

With the addition of Queens of the Stone Age it's officially the best lineup. Thank you, good afternoon!

Coachella wins again for 2013.

ps Remember when people were saying Blur and the Stone Roses would play NYC...

Coachella, are you out of your fucking mind!

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2013 1:32 PM

I know it's no Lollapalooza, but considering NYC does not get big festival lineups (every day is like a festival), I still think this year's Governor's Ball lineup is pretty impressive. They shot themselves in the foot by making Guns n' Roses the Sunday headliner though.

132 look at bv post when coachella 2013 poster was announced!

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2013 1:39 PM

I mean for $200 this is pretty ace! 1 Maxwells Phoenix ticket is going for almost that!

April Fools Prank ?

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2013 1:50 PM

This is great for people that can stand huge festivals like this. I don't get the appeal. Thousands of people crammed into a hot outdoor venue watching a band that's playing a football field lenths away. No thanks.

"ps Remember when people were saying Blur and the Stone Roses would play NYC..."

Stupid schmuck, yeah because those shows have come and gone and no announcement could come later like after Coachella. Idiots who read this blog. Shouldn't be surprised when you have tools like the ones above thinking any of these festivals are fantastic.

Let me know when pavement plays maxwell's

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2013 1:55 PM

154 is mad b/c he can't afford a trip to coachella!

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2013 1:55 PM

155(2) is mad because he can't come up with any clever wisecracks

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2013 2:28 PM

"Let me know when pavement plays maxwell's"

Not sure if this was trying to equate itself with the Blur/Stone Roses comment but if so then you win the award for idiot of the day.
It's not at all on the same level. Of course Blur and Stone Roses are not just going to come to the States to play 1 show. Dum Dum's. Yes because it's not announced yet and it is only April that makes it clear it is not happening.

232 dumb hipster. know nothing. they're playing both weekends buddy. so yea two shows in usa. none in nyc. now go try to prove something you're worth talking about!

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2013 2:34 PM

228 still living in ohio with his parents and commenting on bv about nothing. go on!

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2013 2:40 PM

ok ..So No festival is perfect. I am going and look forward to it... If I don't like the current bands I leave and come back (the beauty of lolla)... its in such a great city its ok to go see 10 bands and enjoy the city the rest of the time.

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2013 2:48 PM

When lame bands like Phoenix & Vampire Weekend are headliners at a music fest things have really gone downhill. Matt & Kim and Lana Del Rey? What a joke. A few great old timers and loads of average at best younger artists.

2:40/1:55(2) keep working at it kid. The day's not over. You might just score a winner yet.

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2013 3:14 PM

Primavera Sound is still the best.

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2013 3:15 PM

2:34,
Let me fix that for you. You mean no shows in NYC announced yet. Or let me guess, you are a concert promoter or work in the industry and you know for sure they are not playing. Always love that one.

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2013 5:05 PM

5:05 Jokes right?

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2013 5:22 PM

A lot of know-nothing fools post on this site. 152-240 Yes, I'm talking about you idiots! Arguing and name calling about things you have no knowledge about. I wouldn't go to any of these lame fests because there are too many jerks like you!

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2013 6:01 PM

I only go to Googa Mooga Fest because it is so well run and operated. Anyone who says otherwise was not there.

Those days are long gone, many good shows here in Sao Paulo, last week I was in lolapalloza, and now this week I will have the first opportunity to see a show here in São Paulo! I'm super happy! The Cure in vein!
