Paul McCartney

Nirvana frontman Paul McCartney is planning to go on what he's dubbing the 'Out There' tour this year, and he just announced the second US date of the tour, which happens in Boston on July 9 at Fenway Park. (The first date is Bonnaroo.) Tickets for the Boston show are on artist presale now and go on general sale Friday (4/5) at 10 AM. No official word yet on when more dates are being announced, but stay tuned.

He'll be headlining one night of Outside Lands in SF. Hopefully that will be countered with NIN headlining one of the other nights.

I bet he doesn't do any NYC shows. Why should he? He can charge just as much in small markets, fill up the local stadium and not have to deal with the shit that comes with playing NYC. And as someone noted...played both of our parks already and MetLife doesn't count and if you have to ask why, well, there's your reason.
