As mentioned, The Rolling Stones are going on a North American tour this year (Mick Taylor included). The tour was set to kick off in LA on May 2 but was pushed back a day due to NBA playoffs, and will now begin at LA's Staples Center on May 3. However, they did a surprise show at a much smaller LA venue last night (4/27): the 320-cap Echoplex club, as Reuters reports. A picture of the setlist and a video from last night's show are below.

Still no NYC dates announced for this run, but they'll make their way over to the Northeast for shows in Boston on June 12 and 14 at TD Garden and in Philly on June 18 and 21 at Wells Fargo Center. Tickets for those shows and other North American dates are still available.

Updated dates, including three shows in Chicago, are listed, along with the setlist and video from Echoplex, below...

There won't be any NYC shows right??? Or should we expect them to play @ Roseland last minute...

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 12:34 PM

They did like 4 or 5 area shows recently, they probably won't come back until they do a bigger stadium tour at some point. If they do that at all.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 12:42 PM

Go to Philly...better crowds, better venue and just a train ride away.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 12:51 PM

Take it from someone who went to the Barclay's show. Unless they play a surprise small club show, these shows are not worth the travel to Philly. The only ones who say they loved these shows are sycophantic morons who know no better. The band is old and slower and just not exciting anymore.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 1:13 PM

i'd be kind of bummed to hear that setlist.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 1:14 PM

It's nice to see that these guys are trying to charge record-breaking ticket prices and the shows aren't selling out asap.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 1:30 PM

$650 to see Mick Jagger do the chicken strut one last time.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 1:52 PM

1251 Better fans and venue? MSG is way better than WFC. Why? It's in NYC! No bars or anything near WFC. I will be going down there though. 113 They were great in Newark and I am a longtime fan having seen them many times since the 70's. It was a blast but of course they had tons of guests.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 2:06 PM

annon 114 What did you expect Beatles songs?

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 2:24 PM

2:06
No they really were not great in Newark. They are older, slower and much less exciting. Look at the video above from the Echo. Looks boring as fuck. If you have seen them many times since the 70's and can still say they were great then you are exactly as called in the comment at 1:13. A sycophantic moron. You probably would rush to get tickets to see Mick and Keith sit on adjoining toilets and take a shit. You probably would say it was amazing.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 2:32 PM

That looks like a pretty fun setlist actually.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 2:38 PM

232 I'm "A sycophantic moron" because I enjoyed a Stones concert? Were you there? It was a blast. No one sat the entire show. Go away fool. Why do idiots like you even post here?

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 2:43 PM

Oh lord...I was like, oh it's the Stones, come on guys. Then I watched the video. Feel a bit depressed now.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 2:49 PM

2:43
I was there and plenty of people sat during parts of the show. Shut the fuck up. You are a sycophantic moron because you have no ability to discern. If the Stones were up there sitting in wheelchairs and playing you woud tell everyone how great it was.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 2:51 PM

That's a pretty good set list

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 3:00 PM

Street Fighting Man? Jumping Jack Flash? She's So Cold?

No,no, no. Play that shit in Vegas.

I'd go w Paint it Black, Tumbling Dice, Can't You Hear Me Knocking.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 3:38 PM

where's emotional rescue??

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 4:14 PM

love in vain is well worth seeing

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 4:16 PM

251 Call me all of the juvenile names you want. The show was a blast. Was it 1973? Obviously not. Was it the best Stones show I've seen? Not even close. Was it boring? Maybe if you were up in the nosebleeds. I was right next to the stage. It was a party and the energy was electric. This tour with Mick Taylor should be even better.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 4:21 PM

She's So Cold... That made the show completely worth it...

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 5:14 PM

For $650 they better give me the Harlem Shuffle

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 5:45 PM

ummm the echoplex holds way more than 320 people

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 5:48 PM

Anon 2:51 You sound like an angry child. Chill out.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 5:56 PM

For $650 Mick had better suck my dick.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 5:56 PM

"This tour with Mick Taylor should be even better."

Shows how much you know. Mick Taylor is doing the same thing he did at a few of the shows last year. Coming out for 1 or 2 songs and that's it.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 6:00 PM

600 That sucks. Oh well.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 6:04 PM

i wonder if any industry folks made it into the show

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 6:09 PM

I am predicting them scheduling a yankee stadium or giants stadium show.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 6:16 PM

LA is where it's at. NYC is for Richie Rich and the rest of his gang.

Posted by Don | April 28, 2013 6:36 PM

NYC>LA any day of the week. LA is plastic town. And zero good local music.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 6:44 PM

agree with 636, why would you live anywhere else? we've go the ocean, got the babes, we've got the sun, we've got the waves. this is the only place for me.

jah feel?

Posted by best coaster | April 28, 2013 7:01 PM

who is rolling stones?

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 8:58 PM

Yuck that audience looks painfully Hollywood.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 9:08 PM

Rolling Stones - Sold Out- got that right.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 10:15 PM

There is no reason ever to go to Philly. I'd rather spend a week traveling in Ohio!

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 10:29 PM

Go to Philly? I rather be dead.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 10:35 PM

LA. Yeesh.

Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2013 11:39 PM

Everyone who went to this show needs to shower for at least 2 hours to wash all the asshole off of themselves

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 12:09 AM

There is not a single good chickpea based eatery in all of L.A.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 12:53 AM

Feel sorry for you if you didn't like RS Newark.

Must be tough going thru life with such a high threshold to enjoy yourself.

I see close to 50 shows a year & was expecting what you described - tired, weak RS cover band - but I had a great time - try pulling the stick out of your ass & get over yourself

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 2:25 AM

Stones need to go deeper into their catelog...

Enough of Miss You, Jumping, You Got Me Rocking,Start Me Up, Brown Sugar! Come on now. This has been played at every show for the last few decades.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 7:49 AM

Yeah, where's Hey Negrita?!? Where's Too Rude?!?!?

Face it - the Stones made some pretty shitty music over the years too. Stick with the winners, Mick.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 8:14 AM

you were NOT there 2:51, you lying sack of $h!t.

and 3:38? start your own f'ing band and play what you want but don't be so stupidly arrogant as to suggest what the stones should and shouldn't play.

you are a LOSER. and maybe a hipster but i'm not sure.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 9:59 AM

did they charge $600 for these shows too?

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 10:53 AM

^no it was like $30 or so.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 11:05 AM

still $30 too much...

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 11:25 AM

9:59

Go lay down before you have a nosebleed and your crazy head explodes.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 12:12 PM

$30 to see the stones in a club too much. you are retarded

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 12:24 PM

that sign says the rolling five t zero nes

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 12:35 PM

Yes 9:59, I made the comment at 2:51 yesterday. I was at Newark and you can lick my balls. Plenty of people sat during parts of the show.

Responding to 2:25am, NO WAY, you see close to 50 shows a year. Let me stand back and try to grasp some air here. What an astonishing and astronomical number. Obviously I'm being sarcastic. Listen dumb ass, to most of the people who read this blog, that number is laughable. Let me also turn it around on you. Must be really sad going through life with such a low threshold to not be able to really discern something truly great.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 12:44 PM

Instead of posting as "the time you posted your stupid comment" why not put a pseudonym in the NAME Field before hitting submit. Get with it.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 12:56 PM

I am starting a band... "The Rolling Chickpeas"

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 1:15 PM

get past song #1 and that is one great set list.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 1:29 PM

I see 720 shows per year. In fact, I'm seeing one right now.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 1:37 PM

The people who laugh at someone who sees 50 shows needs help. Most people in the real world see under 5 shows a year. Also the one who boast I see hundreds of shows a year are like the douches who drive a convertable with slick backed hair saying look what I HAVE look what I HAVE!

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 1:54 PM

^Not at all. Just know the makeup of the audience you are trying to engage. Most people in the real world do see under 5 shows a year. Correct. Among the people who read and comment here though the number is far greater. Much more than 50 so some idiot boasting that he has seen 50 shows a year on here deserves to be ridiculed.
He was the one trying to be all "look at me, I see so many shows a year so i know what I am talking about" He rightly got laughed at,

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 2:00 PM

I sometimes drink 50 beers a week... maybe I need help now that I think about it.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 2:08 PM

LA and NYC are both for soulless losers.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 3:00 PM

1244 You have a habit of calling people childish names when you don't agree with them. Do you have any friends? I doubt it. At least I know there will be one less jerk when I go see The Stones next month.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 3:27 PM

327 Don't worry, there will still be plenty of jerks there. You included.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 3:54 PM

I eat about 50 hummus platters per year.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 4:59 PM

I own a condo in Williamsburg and drink approx 50 glasses of Chardonnay a week. I smoke about 50 blunts a month. Hummus is for peasants- I only eat pate de fois gras as an appetizer. Being the cultivated hipster that I am i also bang about 50 different bitches a year. It's great to be me.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2013 10:25 PM

I am starting a band... "the Big"

Posted by celebrities news | April 30, 2013 4:18 AM

I have been a stones fan for 45 years. There is no in between on the stones. Either you hate them or love them. This group gave us some of the best misic ever, to me Moonlight mile is a aclassic, to some it is a terrible song. This is the only group in the world , that you either hate them or love them. I will be going to my 14 th rolling stones show on june 18th in Phila.

Posted by skidad | May 2, 2013 5:13 AM

london.. i will come.. ;D

Posted by terrassenofen | May 2, 2013 7:54 AM

If they're looking for an intimate venue to launch their 100 year anniversary, I would definitely recommend the First Unitarian Church on West 8th Street. That place is a smaller than Mandy Smith.

Posted by Rosalie | May 14, 2013 4:46 AM

Thanks I've now lost a bunch of respect for Rolling Stones. Keep pop singers especially horrible ones like her out of rock music. She did nothing but ruin the song.

Posted by Echeverria | May 14, 2013 6:48 AM
