Rosetta at Public Assembly, 4/19/2013 (more by Tod Seelie)

Post-metal Philadelphians Rosetta's weekend of shows kicked off in NYC at Public Assembly on April 19th when the band teamed with local support from post-hardcore band Primitive Weapons and post-rock-meets-post-black-metallers Sannhet. Check out more photos posted in a post about the post-everything show over at InvisibleOranges and please do so post-haste (yes, I meant to do that).

If you missed Primitive Weapons, Hopefully you have a ticket to the band's sold-out appearance at Music Hall of Williamsburg on 4/27, when the band supports The Dillinger Escape Plan/The Faceless/Royal Thunder.

there are a lot of post hardcore sorts of bands that sound like this, this is pretty close to what i would call post hardcore, check out The Carrier, Touche Amore, Misery Signals etc

At first, I thought this album wasn't nearly as good as their previous ones, has grown on me quite a bit. All the "one trick pony" people are hilarious. Just about every band has a "sound".
