Screaming Females in LA in 2012 (more by Wei Shi)

As mentioned, Philly band Hop Along were recently added to The Thermals' upcoming shows at Bowery Ballroom on May 28, making for a great double bill. Making both shows even more desirable is the just-announced addition of Screaming Females to both shows too! Tickets are still available.

Meanwhile, if you have any questions for The Thermals, they're participating in a Reddit "Ask Me Anything" today (4/17) at 4 PM EDT.

Speaking of available tickets, Screaming Females' show at Maxwell's this Saturday (4/20, also #RSD13 which they have a 7" for) with Shellshag is nearing sellout. Get tickets while you can. Updated Screaming Females tour dates are listed below.

I'm not familiar with this band The Screaming Females, but I had a "screaming female" situation the other night... Let me explain:

So there I was, just strolling around North Williamsburg looking at the latest records when I got a call from my girlfriend telling me her girlfriends were coming over for dinner, and to grab a few extra Pita's at the market because she was constructing a rather robust hummus platter for all to imbibe upon. I hurried out and grabbed a bag and walked to her place. She was quite busy mashing chickpeas awaiting the guests to arrive, and asked me to help out and cut the Pita into a smaller handy size... However when those guests arrived and saw I cut the pita into a square shape instead of a triangular shape, those females started screaming!
