It's a busy day for Brooklyn's Ski Lodge. Their new single, "Just To Be Like You" was released today via Dovecote (music video is below) and tonight they'll open for Born Ruffians' sold-out show at Bowery Ballroom with Moon King. They'll also be doing some West Coast shows with Chad Valley. Ski Lodge also play NYC Popfest as part of an all-day event at Littlefield on June 2 with Close Lobsters, French Films, Orange Peels and more (tickets). All dates are listed below.

Meanwhile, Ski Lodge feature in the premiere episode a new video series we're calling the BV Studio Sessions where we have local bands performing live at Butler Recording in Bushwick. In it, they perform "Just To Be Like You," and new songs "Boy," and "Looking For A Change." This first episode turned out pretty great -- big thanks to Jessica and Albert Amaya as well as Chris La Putt -- and you can watch it below.

Stay tuned for for more BV Studio Sessions. Meanwhile, check out that video and the list of all Ski Lodge dates below.

Can they play with Chairlift? I would be so stoked bro. Better than the K-12 dude. You make a gnarly run like that and girls will get sterile just looking at you.

Wow, what a concept. A band plays a couple of songs for a website. I don't think that's ever been done before. Groundbreaking stuff.

Wow, what a concept. Whiny prick with every episode of Dr. Who on DVD and hypertension makes anonymous deprecating comment on BV. What the fuck did you do today other than jerk off in the bathroom at your temp publishing job?

Boo hoo. You did some run of the mill video for a website like other sites have been doing for like a decade and you're hurt by one comment calling bullshit. Boo Hoo.
