Waxahatchee at 285 Kent earlier this month (more by Amanda Hatfield)
Waxahatchee

Waxahatchee, who just headlined a sold out show at 285 Kent, has been added as an opener to the previously discussed Babies show happening at the smaller Glasslands on April 27. Las Rosas are on that bill too. Tickets for the show are still available, but perhaps with Waxahatchee being added that won't be true for long.

The Glasslands show is the same day Waxahatchee plays the free, all ages WBAR-B-Q at Barnard College with Twin Sister, Roomrunner, Swearin', Speedy Ortiz and others. Waxahatchee is also touring Europe with Tegan & Sara, and playing Pitchfork Festival in Chicago.

All dates are listed, along with a recent video of Waxahatchee (Katie solo) playing "Swan Dive" for WNYC Soundcheck in Austin during SXSW, below...

Oh my God! She is so talented!! I wonder why singers like her aren't focused on Tvs rather than all those autotune singers. I'm gonna share this to as many people I can and help people find some real music. I've deeply fallen in love with her voice. She's amazing :)
