If I told you that a band featured 3/4 of Code Orange Kids, you might think you have an idea what they sound like. Yet Pittsburgh's Adventures use only some of the influences found in that project, adding in splashes of indie riffs on their latest EP Clear My Head With You. Due on June 18, the result is something akin to Superchunk or post-hardcore as you can tell by the first track to sneak its way out of the gates, "Promise," which is streaming below.

Order yours at No Sleep and while your there you can also order the new Xerxes as well (here).

Someone needs to do the world justice and steal their instruments again.

Screamo is a fantastic sub genre of hardcore actually, including like Orchid, Pg.99, Circle Takes The Square, Raein, Sed Non Saetia, Capn Jazz, and others. People just´╗┐ started terming any music with screaming as screamo when post-hardcore and metalcore made a popular break in the early 00s shortly after Nu metal had essentially run its course.
