DOWNLOAD: Sarah Neufeld - Hero Brother (MP3)

Sarah Neufeld, who plays violin in The Arcade Fire and Belle Orchetre (and has spent time in The Luyas), is set to release her first solo album. Hero Brother will be out August 20 via Constellation Records. The album's title track can be downloaded above or streamed below.

Neufeld just played Crossing Brooklyn Ferry and, as mentioned, will be opening for Colin Stetson at Le Poisson Rouge on May 8 with Rafiq Bhatia on the bill as well. Tickets to that show are still available. All dates are listed, along with a video trailer for the album, below.

Man i looove Arcade Fire but it's pretty clear they are not using her enough. Awesome.
