Boston hardcore / metal bands playing "This is Boston" benefit

The Boston hardcore and metal scene has banded together in the wake of the marathon attack, forming a benefit show for the victims of the tragedy. The lineup is nothing less than stellar, featuring a headlining appearance from Slapshot along with Converge (who will play MDF), Dropdead (who recently played NYC), Wrecking Crew, Doomriders, New Lows, The Revilers, For the Worse, Insult & Sexcrement. The show  goes down at South Shore Music Hall in May 6 in Quincy, MA. Tickets are still available.
