Delaware indiepop duo Mean Lady sign to Fat Possum, releasing new album (stream a track)

Charming Delaware duo Mean Lady, who we caught at CMJ last year, have signed with Fat Possum who will release their new album, Love Now, on July 23. A single, “Bop Bop,” is out now and the band have posted its the b-side, “Far Away,” for streaming. A mix of crate-digger samples and live instrumentation, it’s playful and lush. Nice music for a spring day like we’re currently experiencing.

The only tour date on Mean Lady’s horizon is at Newark, DE club Mojo on the Main on May 31. But with the album coming out expect them to hit the road too. Meanwhile, stream that track below.
