This looks so much better than Govenors Ball...

this is like CMJ and SXSW. it's not an actual festival. therefore, the (complaining) comparison to governors ball is dumb and wrong.

12:31 - Okay, how about - this is so much better than CMJ. And... the governors ball is dumb and wrong.

Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2013 1:30 PM

yes, it is MUCH better than CMJ. but if you think a festival is dumb and wrong that has animal collective, nas, foals, deerhunter, erykah badu, dinosaur jr, cut copy, beirut, bloc party and tons more, and is held a subway and bus ride away, and is inexpensive.. well, that's just silly.

145 inexpensive?! lol you must be from ohio. you could have seen deerhunter, ac, dino, beirut and everyone else play here all the time....

deerhunter hasn't played in new york since august of 2011. beirut hasn't played new york in almost a year. animal collective and dinosaur jr., and others, play relatively often, yes. but there is this thing called math. seeing all those bands individually in venues around the city would cost a LOT more than the $220 governors ball pass. addition. try it. makes sense.

People who like festivals vs People who don't like festivals
I like olives on my pizza vs I don't like olives on my pizza.

except the person who doesn't like festivals is making up untrue stupid excuses. just coming out and saying 'i dont like festivals' would be better.

I like festivals, I just don't like the governors ball. There is only one band i would see on that bill, and I haven't seen them since 1992.
