Tom Waits w/ The Rolling Stones (via Rolling Stones Facebook)
Tom Waits Stones

The Rolling Stones are currently on a North American tour which brought them to Oakland last night (5/5) for a show at Oracle Arena. They played a bunch of the usual favorites like "Tumbling Dice," "Get Off of My Cloud," "Miss You," "Jumpin' Jack Flash," and so on. But most excitingly, on their version of the blues staple "Little Red Rooster," they brought out another blues-lover, Tom Waits, to help them perform it. Check out a video of that performance and the setlist from last night below.

mick taylor on one song only...and he's touring with them??! what a shame...he must be short on the bucks.

I'd like see a duet of Mick and Lady Gaga doing Cocksucker Blues.

Mick Taylor should just replace Ron Wood on this tour.

Damn, this may have been worth whatever they were charging...

Guess this is how they rationalize 600 dollar tickets, huh.

Couldn't think of a better guest to join them than Mr Waits. Mick Taylor has got an easy gig. Travel with The Stones and play one song a night. What a waste of talent.

Gilbert Gottfried yelling Mick's name at 0:08 is the highlight.

New Tom Waits album this summer. First single is called "I Don't Wanna Tour". Here's a sneak peek:

Might make a movie, or I might write a book
I don't wanna tour
Might just stay at home and act like a kook
I don't wanna tour
Not gonna play at the Beacon Theater
Not gonna play at Carnegie Hall
Not gonna play at the Bowery Ballroom
Not gonna play in Williamsburg
Not gonna play at the Mercury Lounge
Not gonna play in Port Chester
No, I don't wanna tour

947 I wouldn't. I was there in Newark. She sucked.

Seriously, they need to include Mick Taylor on more than one tune...

1) Soft "country" songs like these have always been apart of their repertoire (or at least since "beggars banquet) 2) they probably play at most 2 "country" or soft songs a show, which is not "too much" at all 3) It's not their fault that they played a "country" song like this; the fans voted for them to do so
