David Lynch

Influential filmmaker David Lynch will release his sophmore effort, The Big Dream, on July 16 via Sacred Bones. Says Lynch, "Most of the songs start out as a type of blues jam and then we go sideways from there. What comes out is a hybrid, modernized form of low-down blues."

The album features 10 Lynch originals and one cover of Bob Dylan's "The Ballad of Hollis Brown." You can preorder yours at the label now and get a free download of bonus track "I'm Waiting Here," featuring vocals from Lykke Li. There's a new video for that song and you can watch it below.

Someone in this inner circle seriously needs to just step up and say, "Dave, we love, you're a great filmmaker, but holy christ almighty you can't sing for shit. This is like, worse than Shaq trying to rap."

I liked this. Better than whatever Crazy Clown Time was. But yeah, would rather have more films.

Dark Night of the Soul was good, but only because of Linkous and Danger Mouse.

being a legendary movie director is not enough. Check out David Lynch's video for Nine Inch Nail's "came back haunted". trippy stuff. be safe.

Song reminds me of being able to be frozen in a memory that could be tangibly revisited something like´╗┐ that
