Innocencne' by Misty

Did you ever wonder what Father John Misty smells like? I always imagined apples. Most of us will never know the answer to this, but you'll soon be able to buy his signature fragrance, "'Innocence' by Misty" which is being made by SANAE Intoxicants, the same folks who made Bonnie Prince Billy's "Bonnie Billy." "Innocence" contains "pure botanical fragrances of Sweet Orange Oil, Tunisian Neroli, Mimosa Absolute, Violet Absolute, Jasmine Grand, Bourbon Vanilla, and Linden Blossom." It will be available in a limited edition 300 bottle run in August, and you can pre-order now.

In other news, he has a new video and instead of writing it up I'll let director Grant James take it from here:

Music videos don't need blurbs. It's like putting a brief summary before a Garfield comic strip. Also when did everyone start calling them "clips"? A "clip" is an excerpt of a whole, I thought. Whoever post's this, don't spoil the ending in your blurb, which will probably read like this: "Seattle based folk beardo Father John Murphy mopes around a deserted, apocalyptic landscape (and shows off some of those infamous dance moves) in this Josh Tillman directed clip for "Funtimes In Babylon".
You can watch the video below.

Meanwhile, FJM continues to tour and his next NYC show is at Terminal 5 on July 24 with Wild Nothing opening. Tickets for that show are still available. He also plays a free solo show at the Surf Lodge in Montauk on July 28 and all current dates are listed below.

Very humourous comments! He's quite the performer, caught his show over in Australia. Keep it going, Mr Misty.

This does appear to be more of a count up. Entertaining though!

This song is about the author's feelings about how his life might change for the worse after becomes rich and famous. It doesn't have anything to do with the apocalypse.
