Governors Ball wrapped up on Sunday (6/9) after a very soggy start. Despite the rain on Friday and the treks through the mud that followed for the next two days, it was still a weekend filled with tons of great music, and day 3 was no exception. We already talked a bit about the epic Kanye West set, and just posted pictures of The xx, who also played that day. More pictures of day 3, including sets of Grizzly Bear, Twin Shadow, Yeasayer, Haim, The Avett Brothers, and more, are in this post.

If you haven't been keeping up with our Governors Ball coverage, pictures of day 1 are HERE and HERE, and pictures of day 2 are HERE and HERE. Day 3 pictures (more of which are on the way) continue below...

How many people were at the Avett Brothers? It seemed like everyone converged on the mainstage for Kanye, I'm not sure how many people could have even been left for the Avett Brothers.

"How many people were at the Avett Brothers? It seemed like everyone converged on the mainstage for Kanye, I'm not sure how many people could have even been left for the Avett Brothers."

Decent crowd there. I agree that everyone either converged to the mainstage or got the fuck out of there. Only the Avett die-hards or people who just wanted to relax and have one last over-priced beer remained.

there were less people at Avett Brothers than at the Honda Stage for many of the none headline acts like Gary Clark Jr. Not that many people. And Kanye's sound was reaaaaally loud that it could be heard by the Avett Brothers

Sorry for 3:42's comment, we lost his pacifier and he just woke up and hasn't eaten yet. Little guppy gets cranky when things don't go his way

RIP the humbucker.

After years of being abused by awful-to-mediocre indie rock, the humbucker took its own life over the weekend.

Twin Shadow has co-op'ed all of the looks that make me want to dislike a band strictly on appearance. Way to go!
