Har Mar Superstar is NOT The Replacements new guitarist

Earlier this morning Har Mar Superstar tweeted “Heading into my first Mats rehearsal! Wish me luck. #ThisIsInsane” which, as SPIN has since confirmed, is not a joke.

UPDATE: Actually it was and on me too. SPIN updated their post and Jessica Hopper admitted, “Well, that was a curious event. Sean was just punking me/you/us about joining the Replacements. Good thing no one wrote, like, news items about it.”

We believed, obviously. Har Mar just tweeted, “I am, however, playing tambourine in Hüsker Dü this fall.” Sean Tillman, you’re a funny guy.
