John Fogerty

Rock legend John Fogerty (formerly of Creedance Clearwater Revival) released his ninth solo album, Wrote a Song for Everyone, on May 28 (his 68th birthday) and features many of his hits performed with contemporary artists like Foo Fighters, My Morning Jacket, and others, in addition to a few new songs. He will be touring in support of it, stopping in NYC for a show at Beacon Theater on November 12. Tickets to that show go on sale Monday (6/17) at noon. They're on Fan Club and VIP presale now, and Local, Ticketmaster, and Social presales start Thursday (6/13) at 10 AM.

Ahh, the ultimate heritage act cliche. Record an album of old shit with new artists.

Heritage act is such a dopey term. That being said, I agree with cliche part. Re-recording old songs and having lame people like The Foo Fighters and Kid Rock on your record does reek of desperation. Actually kind of embarrassing. I tried listening to this record but I couldn't get half way through.

this dude is capable of writing an album's worth of new material and he hasn't lost a step performing...bums me out he made this record.

Saw him back at Irving Plaza couple years ago. Man kept cranking out the hits non-stop without taking a breath. Had more energy than a lot of these younger acts.

John Fogerty is my God of Music, without his music is inpossible. Thanx John for more than 48 years music, now i am 58.
