No, TOAD is not another in a long-line of 70s influenced stoner bands, dipping into long-winded solos, stomping on the fuzzbox and pontificating on acid trips and rips from the bong. In fact, the name for said Arizona band is a an acronym, short for “Take Over And Destroy.” This sextet uses elements of sludge and black-metal to lace their vicious death-n-roll on their newest LP Endless Night.
