The Dwarves at Knitting Factory in 2011 (more by Harriet Roberts)

Two fun long-running punk bands -- shocking garage rockers The Dwarves and Ramones-soundalikes The Queers -- are heading out on a North American tour this summer, which follows the Southern US dates they played back in April/May. The new tour brings the two bands to NYC for a show at Le Poisson Rouge on August 31. Tickets for that show are not on sale yet but you can check LPR's site for updates.

UPDATE: Tickets on sale now.

I'm waiting for mine right now. This album fucking rocks. They've been continually dropping masterpieces on us since Blood Guts & Pussy, but the new sound since Come Clean is phenomenal.´╗┐
