Julia Holter releases another new song, playing NYC this week

As discussed, art pop musician Julia Holter is releasing a new album, Loud City Song, on August 20 via Domino. The first track she revealed from that album, “World,” was a haunting, bare, almost-ambient song, and now the album’s second single, “In The Green Wild,” is a drastic left turn. Julia’s experimented with combining indie and classical before, but the arrangements here feel more baroque-inspired than ever, and it’s one of her most upfront, multi-layered, and clear songs yet. Julia’s previously discussed tour brings her to NYC this week for a show at Le Poisson Rouge on Friday (7/12) with Jessica Pratt. Tickets for the LPR show are still available.
