Sal Mineo

The primitively brutal poetry of Eugene Robinson of Oxbow collides with the experimentalism of Xiu Xiu's Jamie Stewart in the new project Sal Mineo. The duo, who released Xiu Xiu & Eugene Robinson Present: Sal Mineo in April via Important Records, have announced a trio of US dates surrounding their upcoming appearance at Hopscotch Festival in early September. Look for Sal Mineo to hit NYC at The Bell House on September 6. Ticketing info is on the way.

All  dates are listed, as well as a stream of "The Primary Bell" from the LP, below.

September 5th @ Hopscotch Festival Raleigh, NC w/ Wold, Pharmakon, The Dreebs
September 6th @ The Bellhouse Brooklyn, NY
September 7th @ Lincoln Hall Chicago, IL

I think he takes his pants off...because he is a cage fighter...and that's his natural state. I honestly doubt anyone's ever asked him, to put them back on.

Tattoo of a knife on his arm and that matches the murder weapon? What weak fucking evidence is this? Who killed Mineo is irrelevant,'why was he killed' is the real question this whole presentation doesn't ask.´╗┐
