Have you been to Summer Thunder at Union Pool yet? Outside of our own shows at the venue (with Heavy Blanket/Love as Laughter and with Inter Arma/Anicon/Pyrrhon), the FREE weekly (21+) series has been hosting great shows every Saturday afternoon. This Satuday (7/26) features Nashville’s Turbo Fruits, as well as Andy Animal and Mighty Fine, plus Jonathan Toubin on DJ duty. As always, things kick off at 2 PM with drink specials, and the bands start a little later in day.

They just announced the August line-up that features names like Thurston Moore/Nate Wooley/Ryan Sawyer Trio, Daniel Higgs, Devin, LiveFastDie, Soupcans, and Pampers, as well as DJ sets from Dam-Funk, Les Savy Fav and more. August 24 line-up has yet to be revealed (other than a lot of question marks and exclamation points) but otherwise full August Summer Thunder schedule is below.
