Blessed Feathers releasing debut LP this fall (stream a track)

Blessed Feathers

Wisonsin duo Blessed Feathers released their debut EP last year and are gearing up to release their full-length debut this fall. The record, like the EP was produced by Kevin McMahon who has worked with Titus Andronicus, and Real Estate and features guest appearance from Sharon Van Etten’s guitarist, Doug Keith. While they use banjos, violins and other acoustic instruments, to call them “folk” would be missing the point. Check the lovely, swooning “Ahbinreedis” from the new record which makes its debut in this post.

The band were last in NYC in the Spring and were also here during CMJ 2012 (including one of BV’s day parties.) No word on tour dates yet, but that will likely change soon, as album details emerge. Until then, check out the new track below.
