Whole Foods in Venice, CA (via their twitter)
While the number of brick-and-mortar record stores are dwindling, vinyl sales are increasing and LPs are popping up in strange places: like Whole Foods. It's only in five California locations right now where shoppers can finally get their kale and The National albums in the same place. The shops with Whole Foods also sell LSTN headphones. No word on the rest of the country, but this seems like an idea that could work in NYC. Wonder what they're charging for an album there?
Would you buy a record at Whole Foods?
