Jim Jones Revue

The Jim Jones Revue released their new album, The Savage Heart, this week (8/27) and it's another blast of their signature punk rock blues. You can stream the whole thing via Spotify and check out "Where Da Money Go?" from it below. They also have a new, non-LP single, "Collision Boogie," coming out in October and you can stream that below too.

The JJR only have one upcoming North American show: NYC on New Year's Eve (12/31) at Bowery Electric and tickets are on sale now.

Jim Jones also recently remixed Depeche Mode's "Should Be Higher" and it's a pretty radical version of the song. You can stream that below too.

Depeche Mode's tour is inching towards NYC, hitting Atlantic City tonight (8/30) (look out for pictures from that). Then they'll play Brooklyn's Barclays Center next Friday (9/6) and Jones Beach the next day (9/7). Bat for Lashes, who plays NYC tonight, opens both shows and tickets are still availble.

Depeche Mode and Jim Jones Revue tour dates are listed, along with DM remix and JJR streams, below.

Try as they might, I just don't think this band is gonna make any headway in this country.

That Depeche Mode "remix" is wretched.

a shame they haven't broken big here. they are criminally underappreciated and amazing live.

Just found these guys last night, sounds like a young Tom Waits with a Honky Tonk Rock backup band...

Henri Herbert, the pianist, is great! I am new to this group, but so far I really like them.

Brilliant band - shame for us that that it is the end of the road. Saw them at Galtres in August and then on their Last Hurrah final tour at Newcastle Uni Basement. Great gigs, many thanks guys. We still need proper Rock n'Roll bands and you will be greatly missed. Waiting to see what you all do next!
