New York Film Festival 2013 line-up announced

The 51st New York Film Festival happens September 27 – October 13 at Lincoln Center. The main slate features 35 films, the biggest yet at the fest, and includes a lot of highly-anticipated fall releases, including the Coen Brothers’ musically minded Inside Llewyn Davis (set in the early ’60s Greenwich Village folk scene); Steve Coogan reprising his much loved arrogant buffoon alter ego in Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa; Hayo Miyazaki’s latest animated film, The Wind Also Rises; Cannes Film Fest 2013 Palme d’Or winner Blue Is the Warmest Color; Jim Jarmusch’s vampire romance Only Lovers Left Alive; Spike Jonze’s Her (with its Arcade Fire soundtrack); Alexander Payne’s Nebraska, and lots more.

Tickets go on sale to the general public September 8 with a Film Society Lincoln Center members presale starting before that. There are also special packages available as well.
