About five months ago, Invisible Oranges debuted a song by the Swedish thrash band Antichrist. It's a jam; wiry, high-speed rippage that barely holds itself together. I'm not a thrash guy, but Antichrist do it right.
Looks like we're about to find out whether they can hang live. The band has announced a run of North American dates in support of their Burned Beyond Recognition 7" that starts in Brooklyn with a October 3 date at Coco 66 with Fantom Warrior and Throaat. The tour also hits Chicago on 10/5, and wraps up in NYC with a supporting slot on Sabbat's long-awaited return to the US at The Studio @ Webster Hall on October 13 (tickets).
