The shows will be performances of his 1980 "avant-garde dance record" Gravity, and will feature Fred on guitar/electric bass being joined by:

Marie Abe, accordion
Myles Boisen, sound
Jordan Glenn, drums
Kaethe Hostetter, violin
Kasey Knudsen, alto sax
Dominique Leone, keyboards
Ava Mendoza, guitar
Lisa Mezzacappa, bass
Aaron Novik, clarinet/bass clarinet
William Winant, percussion

Each night will be opened by one of his collaborators other projects. The first night is being opened by Aaron Novik's Thorny Brocky and the second by Dominique Leone Band. Tickets for night 1 and night 2 are on sale now.

So timeless and modern, evocative of nothing but itself. Listening now elicits no feeling of high school in 1981 when I bought it. Here, now, always.

One of my favorite albums ever. This and Dave Holland's Conference of the Birds both musts on my desert island list.
