Fall Into Darkness

A few hints regarding the lineup of the 7th annual Fall Into Darkness fest have trickled out over the past few weeks, but now the full lineup has hit the newswire. Curated by Nate Carson of the excellent doom band Witch Mountain, the fest will bring a broad range of psychedelic rock and metal acts to Portland, OR from October 10 - 13.

Highlights include Orange Goblin, who will be on tour around the fest and who will hit Saint Vitus on November 2; Nik Turner's Space Ritual, which features the ex-Hawkwind member and who will hit Vitus on November 3 and 4 on their own tour, and Hammers of Misfortune, Ludicra and Vhol guitarist John Cobbett's gritty prog-metal band. Oh yeah, and Agalloch is playing.

Buy tickets for the Mississippi Studios shows here and the Star Theater here. Check out the Facebook event while you're at it and creep on the other attendees. The complete line-up is listed below.

It's like pieces of Tofurkey sausage filled with hummus on top of a vegan pizza!
