Sky Ferreira at Barclays Center last week (more by Dylan Johnson)
Sky Ferreira

Sky Ferreira is set to release her debut album, Night Time, My Time, on October 29 via Capitol, and she just revealed one of its singles, "You're Not the One." It's total '80s era Cyndi Lauper/Madonna-style pop, and proof that "Everything Is Embarrassing" isn't the only catchy tune Sky's got up her sleeve. Check out the video for the new single, along with the album tracklist, below.

Sky is currently wrapping up her tour with Vampire Weekend (which just hit Barclays Center), and after that she'll head out on another tour with indie pop-rockers Smith Westerns (who also put out a new album this year). That tour hits NYC on November 11 at Webster Hall. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (9/27) at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (9/25) at noon.

Smith Westerns will have a tour-only 7" on the road with them for that tour, and they just released the 7"'s b-side, "3am Spiritual." You can listen to that, along with the Sky Ferreira video/tracklist, and the list of all tour dates, below...

"only catchy tune Sky's got up her sleeve"

If that was written by a PR person, at least the person has a sense of humor.

Smith Westerns are a bunch of midwestern frat boys. Hopefully touring with Sky will get them hooked on smack and they'll all OD in the next year.

And the scene girl gets arrested for Heroin, ecstasy and resisting arrest a week before her single drops. Heathcliff Berru couldn't of orchestrated this any better.

"Ferreira grew up round crew playa Mike Jackson, statin up in a rap battle wit BBC Radio 1z Shitbeat: "Us playas just became playaz wit his muthafuckin ass. When I was born, I was raised round him, I always saw his muthafuckin ass. I had holidays wit his ass n' shiznit like dis shit."[16] At age thirteen, her big-ass booty started takin opera lessons ta refine her rappin voice.[17] Biatch dropped tha next few muthafuckin years maintainin a Myspace flava where she uploaded various demoz of self-written tracks. Right back up in yo muthafuckin ass!"
