Slow Warm Death, the new-ish garage punk band of ex-Snowing frontman John Galm, released their great self titled debut LP earlier this year, and they're set to follow it with a new 7", "Madonna" b/w "Never Go Home." The official release date is TBA, but the band have just released a stream of "Madonna." It's a slower tune, drenched in bluesy swagger, but it only stays on the calmer side for so long. The end of the song is total noise rock racket and throat-shredding screams. Listen below.
Slow Warm Death have an upcoming local show on September 14 at Shea Stadium with Philly post-punks Psychic Teens, Brooklyn punks Weird Womb, and Phone Home. They'll also be at Purchase College on Friday (9/6) with Pity Sex, LVL UP, Ovlov, and Crying.
For Psychic Teens, the Shea show is the last date on that band's tour, which they're on in support of their recently released new album, Come. All Psychic Teens dates are listed, along with the new Slow Warm Death song, below...
