Bonobo @ Terminal 5 – 10/12/13

UK producer Bonobo released his newest album, North Borders, this past spring via Ninja Tune, and he’s been supporting it on the road, hitting increasingly larger venues. Back in April, around the album’s release, he came to NYC for a sold out Webster Hall show, and this past Saturday (10/12) he returned for his largest headlining show here yet, Terminal 5 (also sold out). Bonobo performed with live instrumentation and live vocals, making for a much more fleshed-out affair than you may have guessed you’d gotten from listening to the record. After the show, Bonobo headed to Slake to DJ the official afterparty (anyone go to that? how was it?). Pictures of the T5 show, including opener Paul Basic, are in this post.
