Cate Le Bon

Cate Le Bon's terrific third album, Mug Museum, is out November 12 via Wichita/Turnstile and if you haven't checked out the two released tracks so far, both are streaming below. "Are You with Me Now?" is especially good.

If you live on the West Coast you can catch Cate live this weekend where she'll be opening for Warpaint, and she'll do a longer run of dates on that side of the continent in December with The Babies' Kevin Morby opening. The East Coast, meanwhile, will get a look in January and though she hasn't announced a full tour, Cate will play NYC at Mercury Lounge on January 16. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (10/11) at noon.

UPDATE: Full tour announced, dates are below.

In other news, Cate recently appeared with Manic Street Preachers' James Dean Bradfield for a duet of new Manics song, "Four Lonely Roads," on BBC program The Review Show and you can watch that below.

All dates are listed, along with those track streams and video, below...

Who?

Also loving This Sullen Welsh Heart with Lucy Rose which was on Jools Holland last week. A female vocalist adds an interesting dynamic to their music which has been done before with Sophie Ellis-Bextor (Black Holes For The Young), Traci Lords (Little Baby Nothing) and Nina Persson (Your Love Alone) amongst others that have slipped my mind.
