Delorean at BV-SXSW 2013 (more by Amanda Hatfield)
Delorean

Spanish synth pop band Delorean recently faced an unfortunate "virtual kidnapping" and have since needed to postpone some tour dates, including their NYC show which would have happened on October 23 at Webster Hall. They haven't announced the fully rescheduled tour yet, but they did announce that the new NYC date will happen on January 24 at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Tickets for the new show go on sale today (10/16) at noon and all tickets purchased for the Webster Hall show will be honored.

UPDATE: All rescheduled dates have been announced, and they're listed below.

Ha! This "kidnapping" bullshit was just a ruse to be able to downgrade their way undersold show at Webster and play a venue less than half that size. So "all tickets purchased for the Webster Hall show will be honored" Webster Hall holds 1400, MHOW 550.

I think the couldn't get a Visa excuse would have worked better if not selling enough tickets were the case. Did you ever think that maybe they actually were put in fear for their lives?

The lush, dreamy sound of this song from the Spanish electro-pop group Delorean's latest release Apar has left me highly anticipating a listen to the entire album.
