The Invisible Oranges CMJ extravaganza begins in two days, with Pelican, Ringworm, Primitive Man, Aksumite, and HASJ rattling the foundations of Saint Vitus Bar on Thursday (10/17). You can still buy tickets, but they're going fast. Friday (10/18)'s equally wild show with Pelican, Sannhet, Kings Destroyer, Wreck & Reference, Phantom Glue, and Pyrrhon is also selling through quickly; you can get tickets here.

For more on our shows, we've got a killer preview of Thursday's show up at IO today. As though that weren't enough, we also just announced a late-night IO CMJ afterparty at the Omega Order warehouse (94 Bogart St.) on Friday (10/18). From the announcement over at IO:

"We at IO have been working hard for months to put our two CMJ showcases together, so we decided to reward ourselves by throwing a party. The FREE IO CMJ showcase afterparty will take place on Friday, October 18 (10/18) at The Omega Order Warehouse (94 Bogart Street, Brooklyn, New York). And surprise: there are bands. Phantom Glue and Aksumite will both heroically put in second appearances. They'll be joined by Brooklyn doom/sludge crew Flown and a special guest headliner, who we'll be announcing on Thursday. Watch this space for updates."
Check out the announcement and preview over at IO. See you at the party.
