Purity Ring (DJ set feat. special guests), Cashmere Cat, Jacques Greene & more playing Baby's All Right night show tonight
Purity Ring at Bowery Ballroom in May (more by Toby Tenenbaum)
We’re very excited about the opening of new Williamsburg venue Baby’s All Right (146 Broadway, near Peter Luger), partially because it’s the location of our BrooklynVegan CMJ parties, the first of which begins TODAY (10/18) at NOON (hope to see you there!).
Today’s BV party ends at 6 PM and our next one starts Saturday at noon, but in between those two shows, Baby’s All Right is hosting the VFW Group-presented This Is How We Do It showcase tonight. Music starts at 8 PM, kicking off with electro-classical Brooklynite Lydia Ainsworth, then Brooklyn art pop musician Empress Of, the eccentric Kirin J Callinan, R&B-leaning trio Wet, psych band Spires, a DJ set (and exclusive CMJ appearance) from Purity Ring (which will feature special guest appearances), Oslo dance producer Cashmere Cat, and Montreal future bass producer Jacques Greene. John McSwain was also supposed to DJ, but doors are closing at 2am, so he sadly got bumped.
Baby’s will also be open Saturday day AND Saturday night.
