Reflektors

Tickets for the Arcade Fire shows at 299 Meserole, which happen Friday (10/18) and Saturday (10/19), went on "Reflektor" pre-order presale yesterday (did anyone get tix?) and the general on-sale begins today (10/17) at noon. Good luck!

Arcade Fire will also be on The Colbert Report on Monday (10/21), and just released another album trailer, which you can watch below...

Best band beneath Death Grips, Cold Caves and Death in June.

Posted by Gnostic Hummus | October 17, 2013 8:37 AM

Capacity is 3000 according to WSJ

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 8:38 AM

Death Grips blow.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 8:41 AM

Already have mine. So now I can try for the other day to scalp! Woohoo!

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 8:49 AM

Big nuts.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 8:53 AM

@8:49 die

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 9:27 AM

849, die in a fire. An Arcade Fire

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 9:39 AM

The WSJ journal says there is enough room in the venue for 3,000. They don't know any more than we do regarding how many tickets will be sold for this event.

I would be very, very shocked if they were actually letting 3,000 people in.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 9:51 AM

"Capacity is 3000 according to WSJ"

Word, I get all my insider concert info from WSJ. Literally everything on the internet says that's incorrect haha.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 9:51 AM

8:49 More power to you. Free market people.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 9:52 AM

cap for the show is 2000. confirmed.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 10:03 AM

"Already have mine. So now I can try for the other day to scalp! Woohoo!"

Did your parents have any children that lived?

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 10:04 AM

Yes. 3 children. and 3 grandchildren.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 10:13 AM

you can just call the venue; i'm sure they'll tell you capacity for the event. tha'ts not really insider info.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 10:20 AM

13:13 - you respond well for a ghost

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 10:24 AM

If you have saturday tix and would rather go friday, I'm looking to swap:

Posted by JAE | October 17, 2013 10:32 AM

I SAID confirmed.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 10:35 AM

I'm really curious what the allocation was between the fan presale and the general sale. I guess we'll see how many tickets there are on StubHub at 12:05.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 10:38 AM

anyone has a suit to spare?

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 10:49 AM

^ suits are not formal attire. what kind of peasant are you?

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 10:59 AM

just announce the full blown tour already.....

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 10:59 AM

I think you'll be fine with a shirt/tie/blazer

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 11:02 AM

sincerely doubt they deny entrance to non-costumed/formal attired people

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 11:09 AM

but it would be oh so sweet if they actually did

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 11:12 AM

Curious about doors/settimes. Will they have a bar set up?

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 11:22 AM

the attire thing is funny to me. leaves a lot to interpretation. "formal" can mean a lot of things.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 11:25 AM

I'm just wearing an old suit I don't care about anymore. Not going to wear something super formal in a sweaty warehouse.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 11:26 AM

going to tie a bow around my peen, then simply whip it out if they ask to see my costume

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 11:34 AM

If I'm the only one in a tuxedo...I'm kicking someone's ass.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 11:35 AM

if you're actually wearing a tux, kick your own ass

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 11:48 AM

Are tuxedo's allowed in Bushwick?

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 11:51 AM

hold on to your butts!

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 11:56 AM

i'm dressing up as a penguin

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 11:57 AM

sold out

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:00 PM

i'm serious...they're all gone

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:01 PM

There must have been ten tickets in that

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:02 PM

what did you expect

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:02 PM

wow that was fast

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:03 PM

well that was fruitless

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:03 PM

seems like they opened up about a minute early

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:03 PM

I don't get it, I was there right at 12pm and tried and they were all gone. How is that even possible? I'm certain Bowery Presents sold all of the tickets DIRECTLY to scalpers. This is unfair, I was on right at 12pm.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:04 PM

i actually got two. holy shit.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:04 PM

"I don't get it, I was there right at 12pm and tried and they were all gone. How is that even possible? I'm certain Bowery Presents sold all of the tickets DIRECTLY to scalpers. This is unfair, I was on right at 12pm."

1. This isn't a Bowery Presents show.

2. They were sold in the presale to fans who had pre-ordered their album.

3. This is actually relatively fair.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:05 PM

Your tears should be bottled and sold for others' enjoyment.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:05 PM

these aren't the droids you're looking for

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:05 PM

utter shit

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:06 PM

1204 maybe if Bowery presents did this show yeah that would be true.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:06 PM

i hate when people think there's so much conspiracy when they don't get a ticket. sure, there are definitely an allotment of tickets that sell privately to people, brokers, etc. But be real people. This venue holds about 2000-3000 people based on reports and there's wayyyyyyyy more than that of us trying to get these tickets. Fastest internet connection wins. My company has terrible internet... i lost.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:06 PM

So, I got a call from Sirius XM that I won tickets at 11:50AM. And then I got two tickets to the other night at 12PM on Ticketmaster. And I also have tickets to the night that I won tickets for, because I got them during the presale.

Anyone wanna party?

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:07 PM

WE DEMAND FAIRNESS

Posted by Grand Old Plebeian | October 17, 2013 12:08 PM

you all realize the venue does not hold '2000-3000' people. it holds 2000 people, absolutely max for this setup, including staff.

meaning the show will probably have about 1600 people with a wide horizontal spread.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:09 PM

had a script set to refresh every second and STILL FAILED. both days. ugh.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:13 PM

Tons of scalper tickets on StubHub already. They can't be the only ones who happen to get through on these impossible online "sale" announcements. The whole ticketing game is rigged.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:14 PM

Arcade Fire sucks.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:15 PM

168 tickets on StubHub alone for $179 minimum. i was waiting at 12pm too, there was nada. guessing a lot of people got access to the presale by buying the album?

anyway, very sad. was excited to go with my gal.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:15 PM

"Tons of scalper tickets on StubHub already. They can't be the only ones who happen to get through on these impossible online "sale" announcements. The whole ticketing game is rigged."

Yeah, by the Illuminati and the ghost of Stalin.

Posted by *eye roll* | October 17, 2013 12:17 PM

love how you all are acting like you're dying to go for $50 but unwilling to pay $175. those are pretty damn low prices if you actually give a shit.

i think everyone here was expecting much worse.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:18 PM

Has Ticketamster imploded for anybody else?

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:19 PM

@12:18 for real-life people, there's actually a difference between $50 and $175

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:20 PM

lol, i wouldn't pay $200+ for Arcade Fire....

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:21 PM

I agree..I don't spend over $100 on any concert..that is my personal limit.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:21 PM

I am willing to pay face if you personally deliver tix to Utica. OK, OK, I'll meet you in Schenectady. Jeez.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:23 PM

i jizzed in my pants the moment i scored tix. that's how awesome the moment was. too bad i'm at work.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 12:27 PM

Uh, to the middle 12:06 post. I'm pretty sure 12:04 is making fun of you.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 1:38 PM

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 1:40 PM

yeah why not do what LCD soundsystem did for their "warmup" T5 shows? Its not like he's far away from these shows.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 1:44 PM

@124, that might be the douchiest craigslist ad ever haha

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 1:56 PM

1:24 - any smart girl should rather pay an extra $150 over rather than be your whore for the night.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 1:58 PM

^^ That's not written for the small minority of "smart" girls.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 2:30 PM

I think the CL post is a joke. I mean seriously, trying out multiple girls and going with the one with the best "tug" skills?

At least I hope the CL post is a joke.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 2:36 PM

That fake CL post is begging to be flagged due to its overt solicitation of sexual services, anyway.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 2:39 PM

Anyone who thinks the craigslist ad is serious loses at life.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 2:40 PM

The Craigslist ad is obviously a joke, otherwise it wouldn't be such a good read.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 2:45 PM

The CL ad is a joke, until some ladies take it seriously...

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 3:09 PM

Message on StubHub:

Formal attire or costume is required to attend this event

Anyone who pays StubHub prices should be able to go naked if they want.

"Last show bowie's ever played if I'm not mistaken"

You're mistaken.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2013 7:54 PM

^ So what was his last show, dickface?

Posted by D | October 18, 2013 11:15 AM

i'm sure it will be "an event" but why is it that things connected to James Murphy are always "an event"? why all the hype
