Cool, another NYC venue that books the same crap as every other Bowery Presents venue. Definitely need more of that.

Posted by Anonymous | November 5, 2013 10:51 AM

Fuck the Bowery monopoly.

Posted by Anonymous | November 5, 2013 10:53 AM

why are you guys complaining about $10-12 tickets for good bands?

sure, williamsburg is horrible but it beats bushwick.

Devin from DIIV. If there's more than a handful of cute girls, break out the blow but if not, keep it in your pocket. We can talk about Satan regardless.

Can't wait for this place to finally open

Posted by Anonymous | November 5, 2013 7:50 PM

what a shit lineup. how could this label release literally dozens of iconic and groundbreaking records for decades and then turn into this?

Posted by Anonymous | November 5, 2013 7:56 PM

cole from DIIV here. to prove it's me i can tell you my birth weight was 7 lbs 7 oz and that half the members of DIIV are circumcised. don't use the word 'deck' or people will think you're a cop.

It's amazing people think this venue will last more than a year.

And people think optimism in Brooklyn is dead.

Posted by Anonymous | November 5, 2013 11:05 PM

Fucking boring.

Posted by Boyd Rice | November 6, 2013 4:55 AM

Are they gonna book that guy that sings that wang dang poontang song?

Posted by Anonymous | November 6, 2013 9:55 AM

These comments are the worst. Fuck free speech.

Posted by Anonymous | November 6, 2013 11:12 AM

Pretentious ass-fucks. All of you.

Posted by Anonymous | November 6, 2013 12:20 PM

Ass fucks are a lot of things, painful to some, pleasureable to others. Some are excited by the taboo of ass fucks, but others are disgusted by the fecality.

Ass fucks are many things, but pretentious they are not.

when does Cole have court? maybe he'll go to jail LOL

"There really aren't people in indie rock right now, there's just all these faceless bands that live in clichés." - Zack Smith. Irony...

I'm tired of reading shit about "hipsters", it's a fucking myth and people like this exist since more than 3-4 decades. If you go by the logic, that everything, that sounds, looks or feels like this, is part of some shitty marketing scam, than everything you've ever heard before is too. Loving art and good music shouldn't have this offensive label.
