Saintseneca

Saintseneca made a pretty great impression last month with "Uppercutter," their first single for ANTI- following years of cutting their teeth touring and in the Ohio DIY scene. The song will appear on their upcoming full length, Dark Arc (due out in March), but it's out as a 7" single now, and the band just put its b-side "Visions" up for free download on bandcamp. When I was talking about the a-side, I namedropped Arcade Fire, and it applies maybe even more so here. Like many of the songs on Funeral, "Visions" is an arena anthem bursting at the seams of old timey instruments and lower-fi production. Check it out below.

Saintseneca also have a bunch of tour dates coming up, including one in NYC on January 18 at Baby's All Right. Tickets for that show are not on sale yet, but you can check Ticketfly for updates.

All dates are listed, along with the new song stream, below...

Fantastic! I'm so infatuated with Saintseneca at the moment - I think I'll end up eloping with Dark Arc when it's released.

Agreed! I saw them years ago in the basement of some rando house here in Columbus. Loved them and finally found one of their vinyls a couple months ago at the local record shop. Just waiting for them to get more exposure, they are definitely working hard for it.
