Zula released debut album, announce tour (dates & LP stream)

Zula

Brooklyn’s Zula just released their debut full length, This Hopeful, a 9-song collection of contemporary-sounding psychedelic pop, this week (10/29) via Inflated Records, who have put out singles for Speedy Ortiz, Memoryhouse, and Oberhofer. If you’ve yet to hear the record, you can stream it in full below.

Zula will celebrate the new album with a release party in Brooklyn on November 6 Secret Project Robot with Ava Luna (who also have a 7″ on Inflated), Sam Owens of mathy indie pop band Celestial Shore, Cloud Becomes Your Hand, Ashcan Orchestra, and a DJ set from Twin Sister. Flyer below.

After that show, Zula will head out on a full US tour for a couple of weeks, and upon returning home, they’ll play another Brooklyn show on November 22 at Shea Stadium with Celestial Shore (full band this time), Banned Books and Laser Background.

All dates are listed, along with the LP stream, below…
